The Mediterranean Poultry Summit (MPS) has finalized the scientific program. It will be blended with a wonderful social program.

The scientific program comprises the most important Mediterranean topics: best speakers will talk about common concerns of the area, including the challenges of the Mediterranean region set against the globalized world background. 

The relationships among countries are increasingly gaining in importance all over world. Once a problem appears in one country it quickly spreads to others. Animal health issues and managing sanitary crisis are now the most essential items on agenda.

However, the application of new European poultry systems is a challenge for both Europe and the countries that have commercial communications with it. The Mediterranean Poultry Summit is a perfect place to share the knowledge in our neighborhood.

As the organizing committee we would like to encourage researchers from all over the world to participate in the Mediterranean Poultry Summit; senior researchers as well as PhD students and junior researchers are welcome to share their motivation and their vision, and will be able to meet different companies and fellow researchers.

In a meeting like the Mediterranean Poultry Summit the social program is as important as the scientific one. Our social program will allow pleasant leisure time, time to communicate with colleagues, and to explore the Spanish culture. 

Spectacular monuments, the Mosque-Cathedral, the Castle of the Christian Monarchs, Medina Azahara, the Synagogue, the Roman bridge or the Royal Stables can be visited once participants arrive to the city of Cordoba. We can also see the heritage of Seneca, Abd-al-Rahman, Averroes, Maimonides, the Great Captain, Luis de Gongora, Julio Romero de Torres or Antonio Gala.

We will experience a unique atmosphere and the opening ceremony of Mediterranean Poultry Summit is definitely going to be its highlight. The registration for the event is now open and the submission of papers is a burning issue.
