Shortcuts Attend Register Venue Accommodations

Croatia is part of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Most European citizens can enter visa-free.

Participants requiring a visa are strongly advised to apply early. Visa processing may take up to 3 months. Visas cannot be obtained on arrival, including at Split Airport.


Invitation letters are available only for abstracts authors and registered Summit participants.

Entry Requirements

  • EU citizens must carry a valid passport or national ID.
  • Non-EU visitors must hold a passport valid at least 3 months beyond stay.
  • Some nationalities require a visa.

Visa Processing

  • Apply as early as possible.
  • Processing may take 2–8 weeks or longer.
  • Visas cannot be issued at the airport.

Invitation Letters

Invitation letters for short-stay visa purposes can be issued by the Summit Organizers upon request.


Invitation letters are available only for abstracts authors and registered Summit participants. Read the cancellation conditions.
  • Request the letter during event registration.
  • Allow sufficient processing time.
  • Participants must contact embassies directly.

    • Invitation letters do not imply financial support.
    • Organizers cannot influence visa decisions.
    • Notarized invitation letters are not provided.
    • Some embassies may request proof of registration and payment.
