The Organizing Committee of the 8^th Mediterranean Poultry Summit, to be held from 27–30 September 2026 in Split, Croatia, is pleased to announce two support schemes designed to encourage the participation of researchers and young scientists in the Summit.

Organizing Committee Researcher Grants

CLOSED

Six (6) grants available
Support of up to €1,000 each

These grants are intended to support researchers actively engaged in poultry-related research and presenting their work at the Summit.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

To be member of a Southern Mediterranean WPSA branch

Active involvement in poultry-related research

Submission of an abstract to the Summit

Acceptance of the abstract for presentation

Registration Booking Reference ( Registration here)

Selection & Priority Guidelines

Recipients will be selected by the Scientific Committee based on the scientific quality and relevance of their submissions.

The grant should not exceed €1,000.00 may be used to cover:

Registration fees

Travel expenses

Accommodation costs

EF-WPSA Registration Grants

CLOSED

Five (5) complimentary registrations

The European Federation of the World's Poultry Science Association (EF-WPSA) will provide complimentary registrations for young researchers from countries belonging to the European Federation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be 40 years of age or younger at the time of the Summit

Have submitted an abstract that has been accepted for presentation.

Provide a valid Registration Booking Reference. (Register here)

Selection & Priority Guidelines
Due to a high demand, grants will be awarded based on the following priorities:

Federation Membership: Priority will be given to registered members of the European Federation.

Chronological Order: Applications will be processed and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the date and time of registration.

Recipients will be selected by the Scientific Committee according to its evaluation criteria.
